Structural facing board
The outer layer is a structural board — typically oriented strand board (OSB) — that provides the rigidity and load-bearing capacity of the panel. It forms the structural skin of the extension wall or roof element.
High-performance insulation core
The insulation core — expanded polystyrene (EPS) or polyurethane foam — is bonded directly to both facing boards under pressure. This continuous core eliminates the air gaps and thermal bridges that occur in traditional stud-and-insulation construction, dramatically improving thermal performance.
